The project involved navigating misalignment between globally aligned stakeholders and locally fragmented decision-making, with key voices missing from the workflow. Early on, E9’s role was misinterpreted as architectural, which was corrected through closer coordination with the appointed architects and clearer role definition.
Despite initial concept rejections, the studio’s craft and art-led approach helped revive client interest. The final artwork was well received, strengthening confidence in E9’s technical capabilities and deepening the studio’s exploration of contemporary Indian aesthetics rooted in originality rather than repetition.
